A rap battle video for two friends trading bars
Turn your photos and a friendly rivalry into a 12-second rap battle video: one friend challenges in lines 1–2, the other replies in lines 3–4.
Vertical MP4 with sung audio, not a full song or MP3. From $6.99 plus tax.

A back-and-forth, rather than a one-sided roast
A battle gives each friend a turn to answer. A diss-style friendly roast has one main joke about a friend. Choose the structure before writing the topic so the preview has a clear point of view.

Write a four-bar back-and-forth
The Rap battle writing brief asks rapper 1 to challenge in lines 1–2 and rapper 2 to reply in lines 3–4. The duo video prompt assigns the same two-line turns. Check the preview for a connected exchange; a written line is not an exact musical bar or timing guarantee.
- Line 1: friend A makes a harmless boast about a shared activity.
- Line 2: A adds one funny detail to the challenge.
- Line 3: friend B answers that same detail, instead of changing the subject.
- Line 4: B lands the reply and keeps the friendship in view.
A worked example: the game-night rematch
Writing example, not a generated result. Rapper 1: Alex. Rapper 2: Sam. The beef: “Game night: Alex claims the crown before playing.” Enter those facts in the two name fields and The beef; the Rap battle occasion supplies the challenge/reply structure.
A, line 1: I bring the moves, I’ve got the game-night crown. A, line 2: You read the rules while I’m winning this round. B, line 3: You claimed that crown before we even played. B, line 4: Rematch, my friend — and pass the lemonade!
The reply reuses “crown,” so the turns belong together. Preview the generated verse and check who is speaking before rendering. Speaker assignment is a prompt instruction, not a guarantee of perfect lip-sync or exact line timing.
Agree on the boundaries before the battle
Both adults must consent to their photos, the joke and the intended audience. Use a shared game, snack rivalry or harmless habit. No slurs, threats, protected traits, private information or attacks on real third parties. No minors, real celebrities or public figures.
Read the reply aloud together. If either person is uncomfortable, change it. Consent does not override moderation: text, photos and output are reviewed. Ask again before posting publicly and use the platform’s AI-content label.
Set up two turns on Street Cypher
The button opens Street Cypher, Rap battle and duo mode. Put Rapper 1’s photo in slot one and Rapper 2’s photo in slot two, then enter their names in the matching fields. In The beef, describe one harmless rivalry. The battle brief asks for the first rapper’s challenge in lines 1–2 and the second rapper’s reply in lines 3–4.
The real Street roast sample below demonstrates the two-photo duo format. Its existing verse is a friendly roast, not this worked battle example or a verified battle render.
Decide which lines belong in the battle
12 seconds · 720p (720×1280) · 9:16 MP4 with sung audio · 10 credits per render.
Usually 3–6 minutes; moderation and retries can take longer. Based on the first six successful test renders; see the record incl. failures.
| Line choice | What makes it work |
|---|---|
| Challenge · lines 1–2 | Rapper 1 teases one agreed habit or shared game. Give the other person a detail they can answer. |
| Reply · lines 3–4 | Rapper 2 picks up that same detail and turns it around. Check the preview for a reply, not a second unrelated joke. |
| Crosses the line · leave it out | Slurs, protected traits, threats, secrets, appearance or attacks on real third parties do not belong here, even if someone calls it banter. |

Questions before you make your rap video
Does each friend get a turn?
The duo prompt assigns lines 1–2 to the first person and lines 3–4 to the second. Check the preview and finished video; exact timing and lip-sync are not guaranteed.
Which occasion should I choose for a battle?
Choose Rap battle, Street Cypher and duo mode; the button selects all three. Fill Rapper 1, Rapper 2 and The beef with names and one harmless rivalry. The battle writing brief supplies the challenge and reply; you do not need to put instructions in the topic.
How is this different from a diss track video?
A battle gives two friends a challenge and a reply. A diss-style friendly roast focuses on a one-sided joke. Both require consent and the same safety boundaries.
See the friendly roast guideCan I battle a celebrity or someone who has not agreed?
No. Use consenting adults only. Real celebrities, public figures, minors and attacks on real third parties are not allowed.
How much does a rap battle video cost?
Each render uses 10 credits. The single-video pack is $6.99 for 10 credits, plus applicable tax at checkout. There is no subscription and credits never expire.
Watch both turns before sharing
Download the MP4, listen to the full exchange and show it privately to your friend. The generator does not publish for you. If the joke feels sharper in performance than on the page, do not post it.
