What RapSong AI does
RapSong AI turns a topic and photos of consenting adults into a 12-second AI rap video. Choose a solo performance or a duo, preview the four-line verse, and render a vertical MP4 with sung audio. A render uses 10 credits; one-time packs start at $6.99 and credits never expire.
RapSong AI is built by the Clooms team (clooms.com); content is written by Jack Shi of Clooms.
How a video is made
An AI language model writes the verse from your topic. A third-party AI video model, Seedance accessed through KIE.ai, generates the video and voice using the photos and verse. The output is 12 seconds at 720×1280 pixels. RapSong AI is an independent product built on third-party AI models.
Safety pipeline
Review follows text → photo → output. The pipeline fails closed: an unavailable or unassessable review does not authorize generation or delivery. Output checks can retry within the 30-minute deadline; an undeliverable render restores credits. Everyone pictured must be an adult and give permission. Public figures are not allowed. Automated review cannot prove consent. Read our Acceptable Use Policy for the review rules.
Uploads require at least 10 spendable credits. Unused photos expire after 24 hours; photos attached to a started render and rendered results expire after 30 days and are removed by maintenance. See our Privacy Policy, which describes KIE, Cloudflare and Stripe processing.
How our samples were made
The five real test renders on October 24–25, 2026 use fictional AI-generated adults, not customers. They cover a Graffiti Wall duo, Street Cypher friendly-roast duo, Studio Session birthday solo, Rooftop solo, and Street Cypher group-photo duo. Watch all five in our video examples.
The input topics, exact verses and corresponding videos appear on Make a rap song, Friendly roast and Rap song gift. These are our own tests, not testimonials.
What our first test renders showed
Our server records from October 24–25, 2026 contain 10 render attempts: 6 delivered successfully and 4 failed. Times below measure server time from render start to delivery, including the delivery steps, not just the provider's rendering time.
On a narrow screen, scroll sideways to read the full render record.
| Outcome | Attempts | Server record |
|---|---|---|
| Delivered successfully | 6 | 186, 193, 207, 230, 287 and 338 seconds; median about 3.6 minutes. |
| Failed to start | 2 | The provider account's quota was exhausted. We moved to a new provider account with sufficient quota. |
| Rendered, storage failed | 1 | Our storage step rejected the provider's redirect. This is fixed. |
| Rendered, safety review timed out | 1 | Output review is now retried automatically before any refund. |
Every one of the four failed attempts restored its credits automatically. These failure causes have since been fixed. The 186–338 second range describes the six successful deliveries; it excludes the four failures. This small first test is not a delivery guarantee.
Known limitations from our tests
- We observed occasional stray brand marks or letter-like graffiti despite prompts asking to avoid them. Review the whole video before sharing.
- Each video is 12 seconds long; this generator does not create a full-length song.
- Render time was 186–338 seconds in our tests. This is a test range, not a delivery guarantee.
- An output review occasionally needed a retry. Reviews and capacity limits can delay delivery.
The MP4 carries embedded AI-generated metadata. Enable the posting platform’s AI-content label when sharing.
